What is an Outreach Center and How You Can Use it to Generate More Leads

Throughout the years, the world has witnessed numerous innovations in the lead generation space. We have seen the birth of cloud-based outreach platforms like Overlead and even seen some like Salesforce become publicly traded companies. We have seen telemarketers become outbound appointment setters, and even the latter transforming into AI autonomous agents. We have seen call centers pop up left and right, and now we are about to witness them being displaced by their much more effective cousin: the outreach center.

An outreach center is the evolution of the call center. As you probably know, call centers have been used by enterprises and BPOs to generate leads at scale for their clients. However, leveraging a call center is extremely expensive and is often something only brands with bigger budgets can afford. Enter the outreach center. An outreach center allows both smaller and bigger brands to match the reach of a call center for 1/10th the cost.

How Does It Work

Campaigns in an outreach center

Outreach centers are physical locations where we run what we call an “outreach setup” for your company. An outreach setup is made up of a 32GB ram device running over 30 campaigns from a device-based outreach software. Every campaign is simultaneously attacking two different outbound channels, LinkedIn and email. In other words, an outreach setup gives you an army of 30 prospecting agents and the software costs associated with them.

Since ultimately campaigns are being run via LinkedIn and email, keeping accounts safe is a top priority. Outreach setups leverage device-based outreach software, allowing us to keep every account we use for campaigns under the same IP and the same device at once, something cloud-based applications fail to do.

Comparing Costs

Outreach centers provide ridiculous cost advantages compared to call centers or cloud-based outreach applications. Let’s break down how much it would cost to run 30 campaigns in a call center, a cloud-based application, and an outreach center.

Call Center

Having 30 cold callers in a call center full-time will cost you between US$800 - $2,500 per month each. Let’s be conservative and use the US$800 sum instead. We’d be looking at a monthly cost of US$24,000, and that’s just factoring in the cold callers without adding any additional overhead cost.

Cloud-Based Outreach

30 accounts in a cloud-based outreach software like Overlead, Expandi, or HeyReach, to name a few examples, will cost you US$99 for every license and US$75 for every account you deploy via Akountify or similar solutions. Remember, we need 30, so this means our total cost per month would be around US$5,220.

Outreach Center

Running 30 accounts in an outreach center is ridiculously cheaper compared to the other options we covered. In an outreach center, you are looking at US$75 for every account via Akountify you deploy and US$35 for every license tied to those accounts. Considering we need 30 for the sake of this example, our total costs would be US$3,300.

Based on the example above, we can clearly see that an outreach center is the most cost-effective way to launch outbound campaigns at scale. When compared to the call centers, we are talking an 8x reduction in costs.

Potential

Campaigns in an outreach center

When it comes to reach, outreach centers also provide an almost unfair advantage when compared to their old counterparts, the call centers. Call centers depend on the lead picking up the phone and in the number of calls agents can make per hour. Outreach centers run 24/7 and use outbound channels where response rates are naturally higher, leading to a higher number of leads generated for every 100 people reached.

Conclusion

Outreach centers will slowly displace call centers and, most importantly, democratize marketing opportunities across every type of company. Whether you’re an early stage, growth stage, or publicly traded company, tapping into an outreach center will be possible. If you’re looking to reduce your customer acquisition costs, investing in an outreach setup in one of our outreach centers is the way to go.
